The Pie is finished!
Almost looks a little like Martha’s version!
It even ever so slightly resembles Martha’s version (see previous post for link).

It’s a bit wonky… but I think it came out pretty good considering I haven’t used my piping bag in a looooong time, we had to use a smaller tip because I don’t have the right sized coupler for the bigger tip and, I was giving my daughter a lesson on using a piping bag. Ha! That’s the blind leading the blind right there.
Using my little kitchen torch is always thrilling. But not quite as fun when a child is standing next to you asking if you’re going to burn the house down. : /
Well, I can say I had a bonding moment with the kid. AND the house is still standing! Woo-Hoo!
Also, I did this earlier today:
Poe with kawaii eyes. Poor, long suffering cat.
I don’t know why.
